Fox Corp. has closed its acquisition of streaming platform Roku for $22 billion, ahead of the expected 2027 date. Roku founder Anthony Wood will join the Fox board as co-chair of a new digital division.
Shareholders of Fox Corp. and Roku voted to approve the $22 billion acquisition. The deal, valued at $160 per share, is expected to close in the first half of 2027 pending regulatory clearance.
