Maycee Barber Withdraws From UFC 335 Bout Against Carli Judice
Maycee Barber has withdrawn from her scheduled women's flyweight matchup against Carli Judice at UFC 335, according to MMA Fighting. The event is set for December 12 in Las Vegas.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion's plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Barber is out for undisclosed reasons. Kevin K first reported the news on X.
The current plan is to rebook the bout to a later date, as the situation is slated as a "postponement" and not a cancellation, MMA Fighting reported.
Barber last fought at UFC Seattle in March, where she lost to Alexa Grasso. Before that, she won a decision over Karine Silva at UFC 323 in December, her first fight in nearly two years after overcoming a barrage of health issues.
Judice is a Louisiana-based fighter on a four-fight win streak, including three Performance of the Night award-winning finishes of Jeisla Chaves, Nicolle Caliari and Yuneisy Duben, according to MMA Fighting.
UFC 335 is headlined by a BMF title fight between Charles Oliveira and Diego Lopes.
